Carter Messman is a 30 year veteran of the hospitality industry, with experience spanning from San Francisco to New York City. Mr. Messman has worked in both corporate and independent environments, cultivating skills in each style of operations; mastering culinary and operational industry standards as well as the creative skills of design, branding, and product development.
A native of Indianapolis, Mr. Messman is a graduate of The University of California at Berkeley. After working in California for over 15 years, Mr. Messman relocated to New York, spending the last 13 years in the Northeastern restaurant market. He has extensive experience in high-volume, multi-concept environments, having partnered with numerous celebrity chefs to conceptualize and operate profitable restaurant projects.
Mr. Messman specializes in all aspects of the hospitality business, including culinary, beverage, design, finance and operations. His work and talent have been responsible in guiding restaurant projects for Imian Partners in Pennsylvania, Delaware, New York, and Connecticut.
